Chelsea outplayed by the Foxes

Leicester city host the current champions Chelsea FC at the King Stadium in a match day 15 of the English premier league on Monday evening.

The match started with an intense pressure from the home side in the opening minutes of play with the foxes creating a couple of chances but couldn't make anything out of it... Leicester city kept their momentum higher as they tried to break through the Chelsea defense. Jamie Vardy eventually opened the score line after receiving a terrific cross from Riyiad Mahrez in the 35th minutes.

The blues lost Eden Hazard to injury and was replaced by Pedro Rodriguez just at the half hour mark, shortly before conceding the first goal. Chelsea dominated the first half of the game but was very  porous up front. The blues continued their poor form of the season as they conceded the second goal of the match just after the break.

Jose Mourhino's men were totally out of play at the hour mark as The Foxes kept pressuring their opponent on the  attack. Chelsea finally got back into the game and managed to pull a goal back via Luke Remy in the 77th minutes of play. The game grew more intense as both sides strive for goals.

The match eventually ended 2-1  in favor of Leicester City and now sits comfortably  at the top of the table with 35 points, 2 points  adrift of second placed  Arsenal. The stats proved that Chelsea dominated the game with 65 % possession against Leicester' s 35, yet was outplayed by the well organised and classy Foxes.
